Piercing

Professional Piercing Services in Didcot, Oxfordshire

Looking to get some new piercings? We safely pierce with needles, not guns. All our jewellery is Medical-Implant Grade Titanium (hypoallergenic). This material doesn’t contain nickel therefore it is safe for people with sensitive skin or a nickel allergy, as well as being a very durable material long term.

Our standard piercing jewellery is included in the price of the piercing. Titanium naturally has a silver-metallic appearance however Zircon PVD Gold Titanium piercing jewellery can be requested on the day (subject to stock) as well as other jewellery upgrades for an additional charge.

Frequently Asked Questions about Piercings

Here are some of the frequently asked questions specifically about peircing. If you can’t find your answer on our website, simply use the “contact us” page to send a message, or book a free consultation.

We will only ever use needles for all our piercings. This is because needles offer greater precision, cause less tissue damage, and work for a wider range of piercings, allowing safe jewellery for each specific part of the anatomy. The instruments & jewellery used for needle piercings are also sterilised in our autoclave or are single use/disposable. Unlike guns (aka piercing systems) which use poor quality and ill-fitting jewellery, with no room for swelling, can cause a lot of trauma to the surrounding tissue, often seen becoming embedded and a build up of crust in the butterfly backs because they are so difficult to clean.

We only pierce with medical grade Titanium jewellery due to its biocompatibility, it is hypoallergenic and safe for prolonged skin contact. ASTM F136 is high strength and corrosion resistance.

In some cases it is possible but it depends on the amount of scar tissue or how long it has been out for. We’d have to check on the day before piercing to see if it’s suitable for re-piercing.

We have strict policies when it comes to ages and ID to keep you and us safe. As a rough guide, age 10+ for lobes, age 14+ for ear cartilage, nose and navel, and age 18+ for nipples. When making an appointment please read the descriptions of each service as that is specific information to the piercing selected. All under 18s are required to be accompanied to their appointment by a consenting parent/legal guardian who must also present their photo ID. Only government issued ID is acceptable – valid passport/driver’s licence/citizen ID card. Birth certificate is required if the surname of a minor is different to that of their parent/legal guardian.

Strictly no photo ID = no piercing. If you do not have a driver’s licence or passport please look in to getting a citizen ID card online.
